2. Leave the MODEM FUNCTIONS section blank, since the call will be made from the

wireless phone.

3. Click on AUTO SAVE CALLS TO LOG FILE and AUTO END CALLS. AUTO SAVE

CALLS will automatically save your data file to a log file. Clicking on AUTO END

CALLS will end the recording after 30 seconds of inactivity.

4. Under SCRIPT FUNCTIONS, click on AUTO SEND. This will run the script on the

Mobile side automatically.

5. CONVERSATION TURN allows the tester to monitor call progress. It indicates the

current turn in the script.

Note: If you end a call by clicking End Call (i.e., if you do not use auto-save), you will be

returned to the CONDITIONS screen. Click on SAVE (to save the call data) or DON’T SAVE.

Then re-start the Capture program before the next call. Depending on the modem type

and/or operating system, it may also be desirable/necessary to re-start the Capture

program at both ends of the call after each test.

FILES SCREEN

1. Click on the FILES button, and the following screen will appear:
